About Our Fleet
What’s the difference between a sailing yacht and a catamaran?
Our fleet includes three sailing yachts — Notos and Avra (monohull sailboats) and our catamaran — for private sailing cruises. We also have three motor boats available for custom day trips and shorter excursions.
Where do the boats depart from?
All our boats depart from the Old Venetian Harbour of Chania, in the heart of the old town. Unlike many charter operators in the region who depart from Kolymvari or other surrounding ports, we sail directly from Chania’s historic harbour.
What is the maximum capacity per boat?
Each of our sailing yachts (Notos, Avra, Catamaran) accommodates up to 10 guests for day cruises. The motor boats have varying capacities — please contact us for specific availability and group size for these.
Can I choose which boat I sail on?
Yes. When you book, you can specify your preferred boat, or we can recommend based on your group, the cruise you’ve chosen, and what’s available on your dates. Each boat has its own character — Notos for classic sailing, Avra for romantic small-group cruises, and the catamaran for families and larger groups.
Are all the boats licensed and insured?
Yes. All our boats are fully licensed, insured, and inspected according to Greek maritime regulations. Each carries the required safety equipment, life jackets (including children’s life jackets), and is captained by an experienced skipper.
Do you offer custom charters with the motor boats?
Yes. Our motor boats are available for custom day trips, shorter excursions, and specific routes that may not suit our standard sailing cruises. Get in touch to discuss what you have in mind, and we’ll let you know what’s available.
